I come outside a lot early in the morning. Sometimes as the sun is coming up.
It's peaceful and quiet. Only sounds are cars and trucks off in a distance.
Here in downtown it's the quietest it will be till later around 7:30am. That's when the people come out from there sleepy hollows and the street once again become a bustling place full of echoes of random people hustling about to their destination.
You can hear the chatter of people talking to the people they may be with about there night tellling them what they did the night before or talking about what may had made them mad. You also may hear the occasional early morning squabble with their significant other over what there significant other may had done to make them already start their day off in a bad, angry mood.
Which sometimes plagues the street with negativity to an already disgruntled community for one reason or another.
If You sit outside long enough as the darkness slowly turns into a dim baby blue color over the city You will see people already out heading to work or maybe coming home from work. You may even see people being dropped off somewhere after coming back from being somewhere the night before. They hop out of the car with no words spoken to the driver as if you are seeing a ghost. They start walking almost like they are out on a morning exercise routine as they start speed walking back down the street as if they are on a mission? While others walk slowly down the street just enjoying the peace and quiet that I'm enjoying knowing that soon this peacefulness will clash with the loudness of the day.

"Along Came A Spider"
While laying on my bed writing along comes a black spider! I tried to kill it with paper. The spider survived my paper attack and ran off towards the head of the bed and down between the wall and the bed. I searched everywhere, under my pillow, blanket. I even Threw the pillows, blankets all my stuff. Shook the hell out of everything!! Nope NO SPIDER!! I can not rest or sleep until that spider is found and killed!! This is not going to be a good night.
Even if I slept with the covers over my head he could find a way in!! I told my boyfriend maybe we should leave a snack or crumbs for him then when he comes back I kill it and make sure he's dead! My boyfriend didn't find that too funny. I’m not sleeping until the spider from hell is dead and he goes down the toilet to make sure he won't be back!
This is the Night from hell.!! With this black spider hanging around. No pun intended lol. Update... While I went out of the room to get a drink after my stressful time with Mr. spider, my boyfriend comes out and says the spider is dead. He killed it.
He searched for it where I told him it had gone. He pulled the mattress away from the wall. Low and behold Mr. black spider was just strolling along coming out from that corner of the bed.
Yay!! So happy. But now everything freaks me out. I can't stop looking to make sure he didn't have friends out for a Thursday night feast. Trying to get it together and calm down. Eventually I will. But I'm always going to be watching to make sure Mr. Spider or Mrs. Spider didn't have a family.

"How I Like To Sleep"
I have a big king size blanket. I divide it in the middle so it's under me. Then I lay on that and fold the other half over myself and roll so it wraps right around me and there ya have it I'm in my own cozy burrito in my own space to myself. Lol.
But you can get stuck in it to, It's happend to me lol. I forgot what way to roll when I wake up and it gets tighter as the blankets keep you captive till you figure out how to roll to get free. Haha. I've had those mornings when someone wakes me up. Hard enough just getting up on my own. So im pissed having to get up. I roll the wrong way!, Now I'm a pissed off mummy incased in this damn burrito fighting my way out as I'm yelling you messed up my whole morning already!
I was Practically ready to just jump up all wrapped up and take the damn blanket with me.

"Nothing Odd About A Human Barking Out Of The Car Window"
It's Saturday morning. I Just woke up.
I go outside. The first thing I hear is some kind of barking coming up the road. I look over. Oh..it's just a guy sticking his head out the passenger side window barking! Ok nothing odd about that. So I ignore it looking back at my phone.
Seriously doesn't phase me or surprise me at all. I carry on with what I'm doing.
You really do get used to this weird stuff when others would be thinking what the hell!?
I Just saw my neighbor. She was coming back from walking her dog. I said you see that guy barking? She said yeah. Ricco her dog barked back at him. She says did he have M.R? I guess that may mean mentally retarded. I said I don't know? I just thought that's another Lewiston weirdo lol.
Then a guy I see all the time walking past where I live who is quiet keeps to himself usually. says to himself out loud "go straight or not?" Then turns right. He usually always goes straight. Guess he decided to be different today and take a different route home. Good for him. Lol.
Strange day already. Kind of quiet out today other than the few odd things I've seen.
Love waking up and seeing weird things. It's great.
"The Weird Side Of The City"
I live in Lewiston, Maine. I've been here a year. It's an odd city with many kinds of people. You never know what to expect.
There's a lot of things to do and see with nice places to eat, parks, and some shops to go to.
At times you will get to see a different side of the city if you happen to be in a certain part of the city. Sometimes it feels like you are in the twilight zone. The craziness that happens along with crazy people shananigains. One would think where am I? What did I just see?
I sit on my porch and just observe all that goes on around me thinking to myself I wish I had videoed this because no one will believe me when I tell them what just happened. Only the people who live here in the city would understand. Even then you still have them sometimes looking at you like you have three heads looking all surprised about what you said. I tell you the things I've seen around here amazes me.
I could sit outside all day and watch the people. You never know what you will see. Who needs TV when you can go on the porch and watch live craziness for free.

"A Dog Who Made A Homeless Mans Day'
My neighbor told me she went for a walk with her dog Ricco around the block. She usually stays by the house or goes to the park but stays close to this side of the street where our place is.
She decided to go further towards the post office and other places. Ricco her dog who usually barks at everyone not because he wants to attack but sometimes barks cause the person is to close them or just because. This time Ricco didn't bark and walked over to this homeless man with my neighbor holding his leash. Usually she will tell Ricco come on let's go but went with Ricco over to the homeless man. She usually doesn't do that because she doesn't know them. Like myself who has anxiety around people don't usually do that either. She was glad she let Ricco go see him. The man was so happy just to see and pet Ricco. Ricco was giving the man kisses and all the attention he could.
My neighbor said the man was so happy. She said Ricco made the man's whole day. His face changed when Ricco came over. My neighbor chatted for a few with him also.
She said it was nice how her dog made someone's day.
I love stories like that. I wish I heard more stories like that and wish I could inspire people to just take a minute or so to just say hi or smile.
It could really brighten someone's day up.
My Father, And The Muddy Path.
My father once was out grocery shopping with my mom when he decided to go over to the other store while she took forever food shopping.
My father decides to use the walking path that runs between the two stores.
The path had those big bright orange barrels the town uses to block off areas. Usually means caution or something.
My father sees them. Looks down the path. It looked a little muddy. He decided the path looks safe. So He threw caution to the wind and went bravely down the path.
He steps off the cement and takes one step Right into quick sand just about. He had one boot now firmly submerged up to his calf while his other foot is still back on safe land. He then tries to free himself but can't do it on one leg as if he was a pelican. He doesn't want to lose his balance and fall completely Into the muddy mess. He brought his other foot still in his boot over to try to steady himself as he tries to take his boot out of the mud but only his foot with his white sock comes out. Having no choice but to put his now non shoe foot down while he tried to get a grip on his boot that the mud monster had taken as his captive. My father tugs and tugs till the monster gave up and released this Innocent boot from his grip.
My father slips his dirty foot back into his boot. Aborts his trip to the other store and nonchalantly walks across the parking lot and calmly into the grocery store walking with one muddy caked boot and pant leg to match. Pearing down each isle in search of my mom.
He finally finds her and she looks down at his pants and boots. Asks him what happened? He tells her the story as they laugh hysterically in the isle as he retells the tale of what went down on that muddy path my father so boldly decided to walk down.
As they walked off the isle to go check out my father had left a trail of muddy footprints.
That happened many years ago but a memory that will never be forgotten. Plus we remind him of that day. It's sometimes the topic at the dinner table along with all the other funny things that happened or he did lol.

"THE THEIF WHO STOLE A CHAIR"
My neighbor had found these two chairs. So she decided to bring them home to put out on the porch at our apartment so we could have a better place to sit when we go out on the porch.
When my other neighbors boyfriend came by he says where's the other Chair that was out here? I said I don't know? I had been wondering that myself. Maybe it’s inside in the hall? I didn’t notice if it was or not. He goes to see if it's inside. He comes out saying nope not in there.
I’m thinking that some random person had seen one of the chairs that was closest to the steps for quick and easy access to take home to use for himself? Well if you are that desperate and a crazy person who randomly goes around snatching people’s chairs off there porches. Then this is right up your ally. It's Your lucky day then i guess!.
Hey, what’s better then that? Plus the people were even nice enough to put it out for easy access to it for your convenience. The thief or around this city we may refer to them as Hoodlum’s!
Maybe he had been eyeing this diamond in the rough for a few days thinking to himself this would really make a nice accent piece for his porch.
Hey!, Who needs Walmart!? When you may just happen to be out with the family pet when you happen to spot this chair. Hell you've been wanting to update your furniture any ways. Why not take it. No one's looking. Plus this way is easier. No car or pick up truck needed, no shipping fees, or waiting in long lines at your local Walmart as we all know that Walmart only has one person working the register. The line is wrapping around to the the frozen food aisle. Plus Now you don't have to wait for that old lady who's buying half the Walmart store. She must think the zombie apocalypse is coming soon. She has to stock up on supplies.
So you hurry back home to drop off the family dog back at home because you are going shopping on the town. What’s better than that? “IT’S FREEE!!!” if you can actually manage all by yourself in the dark to quickly get it off the porch without making any noise by possibly dropping it, banging it against something or even tripping and falling with it, or even impailing yourself with those old rusty chair legs while trying to make a clean get away with your 'new to you" stolen property!
Do you really want to be caught or seen stealing an old chair like that? If you may have answered yes to that question, then better you than me man!
While all your friends will be home reading all about it in the police log the next morning laughing there butt's off at you for being such a Dumbass while they sip on there morning coffee trying not to chock or sip it out while they continue reading about you making it into the paper for being arrested for stolen property.
You'll be asked what did you steal? Anything good?, Was it worth a lot of money?? Then You can respond back by excitedly shouting out “I stole an old rickety chair from someone's porch late last night”
As your friend's stare at you waiting for the part where you now would say just Kidding, ha-ha.
Nope not going to happen. He’s 100% serious.
The man gets himself arrested for stolen property and it wasn't even worth it for an old piece of crap chair. Just an old chair worth noting!.
Now that's PRICELESS!
